Celebrating the hundreds of people who've transformed their lives with the help of our program.

When I got engaged in November, I’d been on the Habits of Health program just 15 days. I remember having lost about 10 pounds to put me in the high 220s. While I was thrilled with getting engaged and the progress of my plan, I also didn’t “feel pretty”. I remember seeing the surprise engagement night pictures and thinking, “well, at least he loves me.”

Last week, I got our engagement photos back.During the shoot, I turned to my fiancé and said, “Not gonna lie, I feel really pretty...and I haven’t worried about my size once.”

Now, The non-scale victory of this post is not that I’ve lost 65 pounds and that I equate weight loss with being pretty. What I have gained through this program is a redefinition of what “pretty” is. Pretty is being able to encourage others - like my fiancé and very close friends - to choose a lifestyle of optimal health because they are inspired by your “glow”. Pretty is being able to be a better mother - or simply being able to become a mother at all - in the future because you chose to put your health first (finally). Pretty is seeing yourself as worthy, maybe for the first time in forever. Pretty is giving credit where it’s due - thanks to God, My health coach, my fiancé and many others who encourage me daily. So, yeah, it was fun to zip up that green dress in a size 10/12 when I used to wear a 20. It’s fun to take “first dance” lessons and shake my booty that measures 12 inches smaller. But, most importantly, it is fun to embrace a much better definition of “pretty”. Can’t wait to keep going.

Most people would say that their wedding day is one of the happiest days of their lives. While mine was certainly one of my happiest, I can honestly say than I am ten times happier now than I was back then. To know that my wife and I will be able to live longer, healthier, more meaningful lives together because of our decision to focus on our health brings me more joy than you can imagine. Plus, I just get a kick out of seeing my old 56” wedding slacks on my new 33” waist after losing 130 pounds in 13 months!

10 months ago I was so tired of being sick and tired!  So I started this program having no idea the impact it would have on my life. I’ve tried numerous other things before, but nothing ever lasted. 83 lbs down now, I am only 5 lbs away from my goal. I never dreamed I would be able to say that! I figured I would quit or have an excuse for why it wasn’t for me. You know what, this program is designed to help you be successful!! It provides convenience, support, and tools for long term success!! I physically and mentally feel better than I have in 20 years I can keep up with my 4 daughters now! It’s also provided time and financial freedom for me that my family needed. Because I have learned the healthy habits I need, I don’t have to worry about going into the holidays and gaining weight back either! It’s a marathon not a sprint. Yes this can be you telling your story! Don’t be afraid to fail...be afraid not to start! 👊🏻 “

In Stacy's words: I never would have believed you if you came up to me last year and told me that Eric and I would lose a combined 165 pounds by the next year. Don't give up on your goals and don't let doubt win. You CAN do it.

The first picture was a couple of years ago. My health was on a downhill spiral. I was on 7 different prescription meds which I hated taking. I ate whatever I wanted and was totally miserable! I am grateful to be free from my food addiction and due to my weight loss, my blood pressure and cholesterol have improved, and I am 72 pounds lighter! I still love good food, but it does not control me! And hey, I had no problem fitting on the rides at Universal studios!!😁

My journey is not over, but I’m learning about celebrating victories as they happen. In the past 7 months I have lost 70# of weight and so much more. I’ve gained energy, health, happiness and hope. I still have my genetic conditions and injuries and I still use a wheelchair to help my mobility, but I’m so glad I quit believing all the “professionals” who told me I’d never lose weight since I couldn’t exercise. I was NOT “destined” to continue living that unhealthy life.

Have you ever had that moment in your life when you say enough is enough, I can't do this anymore, something has to change? That was me 10 months ago when I had a hard time catching my breath after climbing the stairs while carrying my six year old daughter. I was overweight, out of shape, and not living my best life. I had finally had enough and decided to join a gym and change some of my eating habits. It took me 6 months to lose 24 lbs and I found myself easily falling back into unhealthy eating habits. Around the same time, my wife started a comprehensive plan while learning healthy habits and had wonderful success. I decided to give this plan a try, and it was the best choice I have ever made. After just 4 short months I lost an additional 60 lbs for a total of 84 pounds and 23 inches overall!!!! I have more energy than ever before and I have learned healthy eating habits to maintain my new lifestyle.
